RETURN POLICY
West Hillhurst Paint & Design Online Store Returns Policy
Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases at the West Hillhurst Paint & Design’s in-store and through our Online Store. Your placement of an order at our location or on our site constitutes your agreement with these policies.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
- NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES on tinted paint once mixed, whether or not the can has been opened. Customer is responsible for ensuring the color is correct before application. We do not take responsibility for or provide any compensation for paint that has been used.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have chosen a colour that you like and given us the correct paint code/number for that colour.
- Paint colours and tints will look different (e.g. darker, brighter, lighter) in different lighting. We strongly recommend purchasing a sample size and painting a sizeable colour swatch to ensure you will be happy with your choice, prior to committing to your choice and purchasing full gallons of paint.
- No guarantees on re-matching or adjusting of paint colour after purchase. Once some paint is used, a re-match or adjustment may not be possible.
- With tinted paint, there may be slight variations in colour between different cans. This is unavoidable and we will not be responsible or liable to you to replace the paint. If you order multiple gallons, we recommend intermixing from your paint cans to achieve the best colour consistency, or starting a new can at a corner rather than mid-wall. Please ask us for recommendations.
- We do not guarantee colour matches to other brands’ paint colours. If you request that we do a colour match to another brand’s chip or paint colour, we will do so to the best of our ability, but we will not be liable to you for any discrepancy in colour.
Online Purchase with Local Store Pickup
Customers who purchased products from our online store and picked up their order our store, may return any eligible products within 30 days. Please bring a copy of your invoice. If you used a credit card for your purchase, please bring the card to the store.
Online Purchase with Local Delivery
Customers who purchased products from our online store and had their paint delivered, may return any eligible products to our location within 30 days. Please bring a copy of your invoice. If you used a credit card for your purchase, please bring the card to the store.
Online Purchase that have been shipped
Customers who purchased product eligible for shipping from our online store will receive their product new and intact, however; may return any eligible products to our location within 30 days at your own expense. The product must be in new, re-sellable condition.
