A 100% acrylic paint fortified with advanced alkyd technology for superior adhesion, especially to chalky substrates. Providing excellent flow and levelling, it bonds powerfully to exterior surfaces and offers advanced mildew and stain resistance. Regal Select Exterior paint is a premium quality paint fortified with alkyd resin. It delivers a high-build paint film for excellent durability and long-lasting protection and has the ability to cover in one coat, provided the surface is in good condition.

Specifications (Low Lustre Finish)

• Sheen / Gloss: Low Lustre (10–15 @ 60°)
• Coverage: 250–350 sq ft per gallon (3.79 L) — lower than interior lines due to the high-build formula
• Dry Time: 1 hour to touch, 4 hours to recoat
• VOC: 40 g/L
• Volume Solids: 43%
• Also available in: Flat, Soft Gloss
• Minimum application temperature: 1.6°C (35°F)

Recommended System

Regal Select Exterior is self-priming on most properly prepared surfaces. Apply 2 coats on bare surfaces, 1–2 coats when repainting.

• Wood, engineered wood, fibre cement, poured/precast concrete: No primer needed.
• Vinyl & composite siding: Usually no primer — only pitted or porous areas need priming with Fresh Start High Hiding Primer. Never use a colour darker than the original on vinyl siding.
• Bleeding woods (cedar, redwood): Prime first with Fresh Start High Hiding Primer.
• Rough or pitted masonry: Needs a masonry block filler primer — ask us in-store, not currently stocked online.
• Ferrous metal (steel, iron): Needs a dedicated metal primer — ask us in-store, not currently stocked online.
• Non-ferrous metal (galvanized, aluminum): Clean thoroughly to remove contaminants; no primer needed after cleaning.
