Richard Pole Sander Head

A swivel-head pole sander from Richard for sanding drywall compound, ceilings and walls at height. Threads onto any standard extension pole.

The pivoting head lets the pad stay flat on the surface as you change your angle, which is what keeps you from digging the edge in and leaving gouges to re-mud.

• Accepts standard 9 1/4" x 3 1/4" drywall sanding screens and sheets
• Universal threaded socket — fits standard extension poles
• Pole and sanding screens sold separately
• For drywall compound, 120–150 grit screen is the usual choice; go finer for the final pass before priming

Before you prime

Sanding drywall compound raises a lot of fine dust and leaves a chalky film. Vacuum, then wipe the wall down and let it dry fully — primer will not bond properly through dust.
