Meoded Lime Wash - Calgary

Meoded Lime Wash is a unique slaked limestone mineral coating that creates a beautiful weathered plaster-like finish on almost any interior and exterior surface. Meoded Lime Wash is formulated to easily achieve a matte, mottled finish with a soft touch using a two coat brush application. As the carbonation process begins, the lime ‘blooms’ to create natural color variations with slight streaking. Check color before use. Stir Lime Wash thoroughly before and during use. Interior and Exterior applications require a different technique.

Specifications

• Coverage: 250–350 sq ft per gallon (3.79 L), 2 coats
• VOC: 0 g/L
• Dry Time: Minimum 8 hours between coats (up to 12 hours for more mottling effect)
• Cure Before Sealing: Minimum 48 hours
• Exterior Weather Exposure: Allow 7 days before exposure to rain or cold
• Application Temperature: 55–85°F (13–29°C)

Not recommended for wood, glazed/sealed brick, floors, or wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Recommended System

Lime Wash is a two-step system: prime, then topcoat/seal.

• Prime: Apply 2 coats of Lime Wash Base Coat first.
• Apply: Brush on 2 coats of Lime Wash, allowing a minimum of 8 hours (up to 12 for more mottling) between coats.
• Seal: After a minimum 48 hours dry time, seal/topcoat with Stain Defense 'Natural Look' Sealer for moisture and dirt protection.
• Exterior applications: Allow 7 days before exposure to rain or cold after the final coat.
