Regal Select Interior - Benjamin Moore Calgary

Recommended System

Regal Select is self-priming on most surfaces — a separate primer usually isn’t needed. Apply 2 coats on bare/new surfaces, 1–2 coats when repainting.

• Drywall, cured plaster, standard wood: No primer required — Regal Select acts as its own primer.
• Bleeding woods (cedar, redwood): Prime first with Fresh Start High Hiding Primer.
• Rough or pitted masonry: Needs a masonry block filler primer — ask us in-store, not currently stocked online.
• Metal surfaces: Needs a dedicated metal primer — ask us in-store, not currently stocked online.
