Tonachino Firenze Sand Finish Plaster - Meoded Calgary

Tonachino Firenze™ is a natural lime and marble dust paste plaster, which is used as an interior and exterior decorative wall finish. Its natural makeup allows Firenze™ to replicate the authentic modern to old-world fine sand finish look.

With a unique blend of natural ingredients, like slaked lime, river sands, and marble dust, along with polymer admixtures, Firenze™ possesses superb adhesion, durability, longevity and water repellency. Tonachino Firenze™ comes in a white paste that can be tinted to any color.

Available in 1 kg, 5 kg, and 20 kg.

Specifications

• Coverage: Quart (1 kg): 6.5–7 sq ft; Gallon (5 kg): 32.5–35 sq ft; 5 Gal. Pail (20 kg): 130–140 sq ft — 2 coats
• Dry Time: First coat minimum 12 hours; Quartz Primer 3–5 hours before plastering
• Cure Before Sealing: Minimum 48 hours
• VOC: Zero VOC / Eco Friendly
• Application Temperature: 45–95°F
• Number of Coats: 2 standard; 3 thin coats recommended for exterior brown-coat applications

Recommended System

• New drywall: Prime with PVA Primer, then 1 coat of Meoded Quartz Primer (3–5 hrs dry time).
• Existing surfaces with sheen: Sand, prime with a multi-purpose primer such as Insl-X Stix Bonding Primer, then Quartz Primer.
• Seal: After a minimum 48-hour cure, protect with Stain Defense 'Natural Look' Sealer for moisture and dirt protection.
