Concretta FS

Concretta FS is a natural microcement plaster designed for wet and humid areas such as showers, tub surrounds, backsplashes, and countertops. It has superb adhesion and can be applied directly over tile and marble surfaces. Ideal for both interior and exterior surfaces.

Since colour is applied at the time of tinting rather than stocked as separate SKUs, let us know your chosen colour(s) when you place your order, or stop by the showroom to see samples in person.

Use a stainless steel trowel or spatula to apply two coats of Concretta FS

Surface Preparation:

New Surface – Surface should be clean and dust free. Prime the substrate with the recommended water-based primer as required; such as PVA primer for new drywall, multi-purpose primer for wood or glossy surfaces, and let it dry fully. Next, apply one coat of Meoded Quartz. Primer allowing it at least 3-5 hours to dry.

Existing Surface – Any surface with sheen should be sanded, dust free, and then primed with a multi-purpose primer letting it dry fully. Next, apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer allowing it at least 305 hours. to dry. Preparation of flat surfaces require only the application of Meoded Quartz Primer.

Shower Applications

Shower Tile/Marble – First, surface should be clean and dust free. Clean the grout lines to make sure there are no loose or flaking particles. No primer is needed when applying Concretta directly over tile or marble.

If applying to drywall/backing board - Apply one coat of Meoded Quartz Primer over the waterproof substrate allowing it at least 3-5 hours to dry. When applying inside showers or moist areas, be sure to waterproof the substrate before beginning application as Concretta is only the finish coat plaster.

Shower applications must be completed with PlasterGuard and PlasterSeal Plus.

Warning:

It is recommended that this be completed by a professional who has experience with plasters, such as Venetian plasters or concrete plasters. Please contact us for for information or for a professional recommendation.

Avoid extended skin contact. Use eye protection and breathing apparatus when sanding material. Keep room well ventilated when working indoors.
