Moroccan Clay is Meoded's next-generation natural wall finish, engineered for timeless beauty, durability, and ease of application. Interior only. Not for exterior use or wet areas — a shower wants Concretta instead.

Recommended System

Prep: The wall must be clean, sound and flat. Clay is thin and will not hide a bad patch.
Prime: Apply 1 coat of Meoded Quartz Primer (3–5 hrs dry time). The quartz grit gives the clay something to grab — skipping it is the most common reason a clay finish lifts.
First coat: A thin, tight levelling coat with a stainless steel trowel. Minimum 8 hours.
Second coat: The one people see. Work in varied directions and overlap your strokes — the movement comes from the trowel, not the material.
Seal: After a minimum 24-hour cure, two coats of Stain Shield (100–120 sq ft per quart over plaster), or Meoded Hydrowax for a low sheen — ask us in-store, not currently stocked online.
