Sealing a Concretta shower? Take 15% off the whole system.
Our Concretta Shower Kit builder works out which size of PlasterGuard your square footage actually needs, along with the plaster, primer and tools — then loads it all into your cart at once with 15% off the entire kit.
PlasterGuard is a self-crosslinking nano-based water-borne copolymer that provides a unique set of advantages due to its remarkable adherence, penetration and finish versatility. PlasterGuard is perfectly formulated to be the waterproofing top coat for Concretta shower wall applications, and is also a suitable sealant for plasters in high-traffic areas or backsplashes that need extra stain resistance and durability.
For shower walls, a tub surround or a backsplash, PlasterGuard on its own is your waterproofing. You only need to add PlasterSeal Plus if the job includes a horizontal surface — a floor, pan, bench seat, niche shelf or countertop.

Recommended System
PlasterGuard is the waterproofing system for Concretta FS wall, floor, and countertop installations, once the plaster has cured a minimum of 72 hours.
- Shower walls: Roll on the first layer diluted 20% with water; let dry 1–2 hours. Apply 2–3 more full-strength layers by foam roller, 1–2 hours between coats. Let the final coat dry 24–48 hours before use — add another layer if water penetration is seen after the 3rd coat.
- Floors/countertops: Roll on 1 layer diluted 20% with water, let dry 1–2 hours, then follow with 2 layers of PlasterSeal Plus.
- Shower finishing: Once sealants are fully applied and dried, apply clear silicone where walls meet the floor and around all fixtures.
Rolled on with a 6" foam roller — never brushed. A nap roller leaves stipple in a clear coat that cannot be sanded out afterward.
