Velature Glaze - Meoded Calgary

Velature™ is a premium-quality, water-dilutable, 100% acrylic, clear flat color wash. Velature™ is specially formulated to accept tints and to absorb into the Meoded interior and exterior decorative plasters, leaving the project with color but without luster or shine. Velature™ is formulated with the highest levels of UV absorbers and inhibitors, shielding your project for years.

Velature is available in 1-quart containers.

Specifications

• Type: Water-dilutable, 100% acrylic clear colour wash / glaze
• Coverage: Quart: 100–300 sq ft; Gallon: 400–1,200 sq ft (varies with dilution ratio and plaster porosity/texture)
• VOC: <50 g/L (measured without water content)
• Number of Coats: Multiple, diluted coats — lighter/sealer coats first, darker coats layered on for a deeper, aged look

Recommended System

Velature is applied over cured Meoded decorative plasters — it is not a standalone paint and doesn't require its own primer.

• Base: Apply over any fully dried/cured Meoded interior or exterior decorative plaster, such as Tonachino Firenze, Marmorino Tintoretto, or Vega Plaster.
• Application: Dilute with water; build colour gradually with light coats first, then darker coats for depth and an aged appearance.
